How do I get involved in a ministry?

At Rock Solid we believe anything can be a ministry.  From a jogging ministry to the traditional youth ministry there is a place for you.  Below is a simple step by step process to get into ministry and serve the Lord.

1. Make sure you identify with Rock Solid's vision and really believe this is the church you want to serve at.  You also must be "Born Again."  One way to find out more about Rock Solid is to take DBI-101 "Rock Solid Partners Class."  Here you will find out about our vision, beliefs, history, ministries available, as well as learn how to pray and read the word of God more effectively.  While this class isn't mandatory for all ministries (check with each ministries requirement) it is a great place to find out more about the church.
2. Attend the church for 3 months.   Ministries that require 3 months of attendance are as follows: Babies, kids, youth, Media, Sound, Usher and worship ministries. All other ministries are entry ministries that you can help in any time you like.  Simply talk to the ministry leader.
3. Go to the "Passion To" links to find the ministry that is right for you and then email, call, or talk to the ministry leader for more details and let them know you are interested.  They will help you determine your gift and help train you for that given ministry.
4. Be committed.  You must give a commitment to the ministry because people will put you on a schedule.

Where can I find a small group of friends to grow with?

If you are single, married, or simply need some friends we have some great small groups available for you to meet new people.  Please go to the "Passion To Care" section for a list of all our small groups and team ministries where you can find support.  If you desire to start a support group of some type please call the office and someone will get with you to help you start that ministry.

How can I submit a complaint, problem, suggestion, or praise/prayer request?

At Rock Solid we encourage everyone, whether old time partners or new guests, to give their input to help Rock Solid be a better church for everyone.  If you have a complaint, problem, suggestion, or praise/prayer request report we want to hear from you.  There are a few ways you can submit your comments:  1) Go to the "Feedback" page and submit your comment; 2) Call the office and tell our Office Manager or Executive Secretary your comment; 3) Email or call the person you feel it should be directed to

Why is there more than one pastor at Rock Solid?

First, you must understand that we have one Pastor and that is Pastor Brad Kuechler.  He is the Senior Pastor, along with his wife Pastor Carolyn.  In God's word it tells us that God will anoint one man to receive His vision for the church and the surrounding community.  Once the Senior Pastor receives the vision from God his job is to pass God's vision on to the entire congregation so that everyone can serve the Lord and be blessed.  To carry out this vision it takes help and that is where Assistants are needed.  At Rock Solid God has blessed us with many assistants to help Pastors Brad and Carolyn carry out the vision of the church.  A Pastor simply means an overseer (1 Timothy 3) or shepherd who cares for people.  Another reason we have a few pastors is because first of all pastor Brad has a calling on his life to raise up pastors to serve the Lord and has personally raised up some of our pastors to the position they now have.  Secondly, Rock Solid has a unique calling to not only pastor this church but to pastor the entire South Bay.  We have a huge vision and we have seen God bring in pastors from all over the region to serve under our Senior Pastor.  All of our pastors report to Pastors Brad and Carolyn Kuechler and are there as an extension to our Senior Pastors.  They are there to serve you in all your needs.

What is Brad Kuechler Ministries?

Pastor Brad and Carolyn have a huge calling upon their lives and are called to a world wide ministry.  While they are first called to minister to Rock Solid they are also called to minister to multitudes all over the world.  Pastor Brad has ministered in India, Nepal, Mexico, South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, and a variety of other nations.  Because Pastors Brad and Carolyn have raised up many pastors and leaders and Rock Solid to help minister to the congregation it has given them more freedom to reach out to many others through book writing, church training seminars, revival meetings, TV, Media, evangelism events, orphan programs (coming up), food programs (coming up), and many other venues of ministry.  All our media sources (CD's, Tapes, DVD's) are produced through Brad Kuechler Ministries and can be purchased either online, at Rock Solid, or at special preaching venues Pastor Brad is speaking at.

Can I meet with a pastor or counselor for help with some issues I am facing?

Yes!  Simply call the office at 310-832-2788 to set an appointment with a pastor.  You can request which pastor to meet with however, if their schedule is full we may have to assign another pastor to you.
