Connection Groups

The bible tells us that the early church was contagious. In the book of Acts, chapter 2, the bible gives us a glimpse into what made this early church so attractive to those new converts. The key is found in Acts 2:42-47. There were 4 keys to this growth which are the word of God, fellowship, communion, and prayer.

Our "Activity Groups" focus mainly on the 2nd key . . . Fellowship . . . and are a great way to "Get Connected" with other Christians from the Rock Solid Family. We have many activity groups to choose from such as:

1st Saturday of Every month - Youth Activity Groups - Youth Activity Director

Time: 5pm

Location: Meets at Rock Solid and then goes out from there

Types of Activities: Beach parties, miniature golf, bowling, pizza party, Christian Bands and Concerts, and much more!

Ages: 13 to 18 years of age

3rd Saturday of Every Month - Comedy Night - Contact Persons: Tim & Desiree Pritchard

Time: 7pm

Location: Meets at Rock Solid's Connection Cafe

Types of Activities: Sharing recipes while cooking a special dinner. Following the dinner we put on a Christian stand up comedy dvd or have special Christian Comedian Guests come and put on a Comedy Night. We have a lot of laughs.

Ages: All are invited (No child care but many of the kids join the comedy night)

4th Friday of Every Month - Dinner and a Movie - Contact Person: Gloria Brantley

Location: Connection Cafe at Rock Solid

Types of Activities: We simply give everyone a free dinner and free popcorn and a drink when the movie starts.

Ages: All are invited (No child care but the kids usually watch the family movie with their parents)

Every Thursday Night - YOUTH MINISTRY - Contact Person: Youth Director

Time: 7:15pm

Location: We meet in the Front Line Youth Room

Types of Activities: The youth have a great time as they begin the night at 6:30pm in the Gameroom and cafe. Then at 7:15pm the youth meet in the youth center as our youth do their own worship. Finally they have a great time of the word, fellowship and fun! Come and Join Us!

Ages: 13 to 18

Location: We meet upstairs in the underwater room

Types of Activities: The Kids have a great time as they begin the night at 6:30pm in the Gameroom and cafe. Then at 7:15pm the Kids meet in the Kids center as our for a time of worship. Finally they have a great time of the word, fellowship and fun! Come and Join Us!

Ages: 6 to 12

You can also call the church office Tuesday through Friday between 9am to 2pm and someone can let you know where the next group is meeting.
